Southdowners

The Southdowners is a group of tenants with learning disabilities. We meet with Sheridan Lynch (Divisional Director) and Paul Richards (Tenant Involvement Co-ordinator). Here is some information about us:

• We meet every two weeks at Southdown’s head Office in Lewes
• We use pictures and symbols to help us with the minutes of our meetings
• We invite other people and groups to come to our meetings
• We have helped to choose new staff at the office
• We want you to know that our group is good
• We want to make things better for tenants
• We tell other groups about what we do

We have talked about:

• Our tenant meetings held where we live
• What questions to have in the tenants' survey
• How we choose staff
• What we want staff to be like
• ‘Valuing People’ and how things have changed
• How to change Southdown’s website
• Southdown’s Business Plan
• Where we live
