Employment Consultant

Breakaway Supported Employment Service is an expanding part of Southdown Housing Association. We provide support to people with different kinds of disability, which may present obstacles to employment. 

As an Employment Consultant you will enable people with learning disabilities to find employment, and then support them in their role.  You will follow people through the whole process, including working alongside them on-site if necessary, and will see the results of their achievements.  You will have an office base from which you will be required to travel throughout the West Sussex area; travel expenses will be paid for, along with essential car user allowance. As this post includes travel, it is essential that all candidates hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work.

Experience of working in a variety of commercial businesses and an awareness of the recruitment needs of people with learning disabilities are essential.
