Support4Housing is an exciting new service launched in April 2009. Provided through a partnership between Southdown and BHT, the service provides housing related support to 300 vulnerable people and households across Brighton and Hove.
The service provides initial 6 week resettlement support (via floating support.) After 6 weeks the majority of service users will then receive support by attending the Support4Housing drop-in facility. For those service users unable to attend the drop-in, or if we need to respond to some from of crisis, we are able to provide continued floating support. Service users will receive support for up to 18 months.
The drop-in facility is based at BHT’s premises at 144 London Road, Brighton. It is located within walking distance of central Brighton, on main bus routes and close to Brighton mainline railway station. The service user reception facilities are fully accessible.
The service is run from a drop-in space at 144 London Road, Brighton. Please click here for map directions.
The drop-in facility will provide services Monday-Friday (9.00am – 5.00pm), as well as evening sessions (up to 7.30pm).
The drop-in can only be used by referred service users. All referrals for the service need to go through the Brighton and Hove City Council’s Support Access Team. If you are a professional wanting to make a referral please contact Joe Harding on 01273 293127 or you can ring the Support4Housing service on 01273 645430 and speak to the Manager, Rachel Burrows about your specific query.
