Preston Park Centre

Southdown’s Preston Park Resource Centre in Brighton provides day care for more than 70 people with mental health problems. Around 35 clients, aged between 18 and 65, attend each weekday.

The centre offers a range of therapeutic and activity groups, including an Anger Management Group which is open to referrals. Clients are encouraged to help run the centre through the Members Committee.

During the last year, members of Preston Park’s writing group have published an acclaimed book of creative writing and clients rounded off a ten-week artistic project with a spectacular display of their work.
