Services

Supported Housing

We provide supported housing throughout the South of England for vulnerable people. Our tenants, most of whom have learning disabilities or mental health problems, live in a wide range of accommodation which is either owned or leased by Southdown. Southdown staff also provide support for tenants of other landlords.

We encourage our tenants to live as independently as possible but provide practical support to help them manage their tenancies. Our staff can help with organising rent payments, claiming benefits, budget planning, property maintenance and fostering good relationships with neighbours.

Registered Care

Southdown has a range of staffed services for people with more profound learning disabilities. Tenants live within supported living schemes or registered care homes. Supported living is provided in self-contained flats, often grouped together in the same buliding. Registered care, with round-the-clock staff support, is provided in small shared houses.
